Getting High Traffic is Nice, Getting High Website Conversions is Better

Your website traffic is on the rise. Excellent! Here’s something to think about, have you seen any actual leads or business from your website? With any business marketing is great, but if your marketing isn’t producing results than it’s probably not worth it. The traffic and ranking reports are a good marketing story but the real results are in your website conversion. How does traffic convert to a good lead?

Talk To Your Demographic: Know Your Audience

It’s easy. Ask yourself, are you speaking to your audience? If your message is relatable to the user they will understand you better and will be more apt to act. In order for the prospect to act they need a good value proposition and a reason to act now, always include a call to action. Give your users a strong reason to act and then show them how to act. Get those prospects and users to turn into strong leads!

Keep it as simple as 1-2-3

When creating your design think about your user and how they would use your site. Can they get around your website with ease? Will they get “lost” moving from one section to the other? After experiencing your website will the end result be the generation of a lead? Website users are famous for short attention spans and it’s easy for them to leave your site. A website that’s easy to navigate and has content that leads a prospect to a conversion point will be the site that will enjoy increased website conversion rates and a higher quality lead.

Testing is the Fastest Way to Success

Never leave your site alone, sitting once it goes live. Keep your website updated, treat it as it’s a living organism. As events happen within your industry update your website so that it is current. You should always be testing your website to discover things that work and things that don’t, especially in important conversion points. Test it all, graphics, forms, layouts, content options, call to actions and more. Take the time to see what on your site is making the users tick, what’s working and what’s not, what’s converting them to leads and what isn’t. If you want your site to convert and become successful than you must test your options.

If It’s All Together More Dough Will Come

With content that captures your customer or client, a design that’s easy to navigate, and if you test to dial in the right parts, you’ll talking a lot more that simply traffic. You’ll be enjoying the benefits of a website that that’s producing high website conversion rates, good qualified leads, and a much larger payday.
